by Lizzy W   |   June 2, 2014   |   5 Comments

NO ADDED SUGAR!  I repeat, no added sugar!!!  Well, there’s a touch of honey and chocolate chips but that doesn’t count…  hello diet friendly cookies.  These are so easy, prep time is only 5 minutes and they are so yummy.  Even better, I’m sure you already have all the ingredients in your pantry.

5 Minute Prep Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies (Yield: 16 cookies, approx. 57 calories per cookie)

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup quick oats (option here to use gluten free)
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/8 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 10 tonka bean shavings (chances are, if you are in the U.S. you won’t have this ingredient but thats okay, do without it)

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with foil.
  • Mash bananas in a bowl.  Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Scoop the cookies in heaping tablespoon sized portions out onto baking sheets and bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Enjoy!!!!

Hard to believe there is no sugar in these cookies. They were very moist and delicious. I’m sure we will
be making them at home sometime soon. They were fantastic.
