Foodie Find: Pacific Foods New Stocks & More!
After a couple weeks of talking with just about the nicest girls ever at Pacific Foods, I came home and saw two packages waiting at my door, and I couldn’t be more excited about what was inside.
- BRAND NEW Bone Stocks – So freaking good, only about 35-40 calories, 9 GRAMS OF PROTEIN, and fat free. Bone stocks are extremely nourishing, anti-inflamatory, anti-aging, and detoxifier. Definitely my new diet addition :).
- Hemp Milk – A great dairy-free alternative, and so so good in baking, especially vegan baking.
- Almond milk – Great because it’s lactose free, high in antioxidants, and the light almond flavor makes it a great additive for baking, coffee, cereal, just about anything.
- Simple Stocks – Pacific is the only brand of stocks I use because of their low sodium content and rich flavor.
- Creamy Tomato, Roasted Red Pepper, and Butternut Squash Soup – All of which I have tried and absolutely love. I always keep them in my drawer at work in case I don’t have time to run out for lunch. Nutritionists love this option for a quick and healthy meal.
http://www.pacificfoods.com – everything and so much more is all available to see here!
*** Be sure to look out for Pacific’s new Bone Stocks – they are such a great snack to keep in your drawer at work or around the house – they will satisfy without the calories and fat and they are packed with protein!
*** Pacific Stocks are ALWAYS my go to when cooking because of sodium content and flavor

I am going to have to try that creamy tomato soup one. Fall is going to be here before we know it. Nothing better than a grilled cheese and some tomato soup! Any ideas on how to make a grilled cheese healthy?
lizzyw says
Now you are making me hungry! To make a “healthier” grilled cheese, spray a non-stick pan with canola oil and use whole grain bread, and a low-fat cheese!
Rebecca says
Wouldn’t using the low fat cheese take away from the taste of the sandwich?
lizzyw says
No, I don’t really find a huge difference using low fat vs regular cheese in grilled cheese at all.
Rebecca says
Alright thanks. I just was asking. I thought maybe the taste would be different but maybe when it melts or something it doesn’t make it taste different.
Rebecca says
I have had the tomato soup and it is excellent. Definitely great to add to your existing recipes to if you enjoy changing things up.

I’ve never tried bone stocks, but they sound great! I also am always on the look out for low sodium options, so I’ll definitely try their stocks out.
