Mother’s Day has always been a tough holiday for me since my parents are divorced.  It’s always hard to make sure I am spending enough quality time with each set of parents… and now that I am old enough to fully realize all that both my mothers have done for me, the pressure feels a bit higher to make sure I do something really special for both of them.

My mom has always been a person for me who I can turn to when I have problems with work and school, and always there for that middle of the night phone call when all our issues just seem so urgent.  My step mom has always given me her honest opinions and treated me exactly as I was her own daughter, the honesty which sometimes came hard to hear but in the end I can’t explain how grateful I am.  She has helped bring our family even closer together, with the gorgeous family dinners that she spends a week preparing for, and for all of these qualities and more, I will be forever grateful.

I chose the Heart Snapshot Mix and A Year in My Life Day Planner and both turned out even more beautiful than I imagined!!  The frame was a bit small which I actually loved, it’s the perfect size for a home office or family room, and the pressed foil around some of the photos added such a gorgeous and unique touch.  I highly recommend either of these, especially the frame.  I want to order another one for myself now :)!
