ALDI Announces 23 Fan Favorite Products + Buffalo Shrimp Taco Recipe
I am such a fan of ALDI for all my grocery shopping needs. Today, I’m excited to share with you ALDI JUST released a list of 23 products that fans across the country voted on as their favorites (one of which I’ve made into this super yummy recipe below)! Not sure if you know, but ALDI has quite the fan club. Recently over 40,000 loyal fans shared their passion for their most-loved ALDI-exclusive products. You can easily spot these products in store – just look for the blue heart-shaped Fan Favorites logo on store shelves.
There’s one thing about my life that’s no secret: the kitchen is my sacred space. No matter how hard of a week I’ve had, no matter how many times my dogs try to sabotage my plans by opening my pantry door and eating whatever they can find that will send them to the 24hr vet clinic, no matter how tired I may be from a long day at work, being in the kitchen removes every ounce of stress my day to day life incurs. With my only focus being healthy meals and creativity, all my worries instantly melt away. That is one of the reasons I was so excited to learn about the ALDI Fan Favorites program, which inspired me to create these super yummy buffalo shrimp tacos during this partnership with ALDI.
For those of you that don’t know, ALDI is an amazing grocery store chain (1,900 stores nationwide in 36 states) that promotes high-quality food at very affordable prices. They are a store dedicated to saving shoppers money on the essentials by cutting cost on unnecessary things, without ever compromising quality. I mean, 1 in 5 of their products is award winning – that’s quality!!

For this recipe, I decided to choose one of the newly recognized Fan Favorites products. Houston is about 1,863,847 degrees right now, so I’m all about light bites and refreshing dinners these days. So, what could be a better combination than shrimp and my favorite flavor blaster of all time – BUFFALO SAUCE! Using the Fan Favorite Fremont Fish Market Jumbo EZ peel raw shrimp, I had these buffalo shrimp tacos made in under 15 minutes… perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
These buffalo shrimp tacos were AMAZING, we ate every last one. I don’t know why, but I have a serious obsession with anything buffalo flavored. I also suggest the option of using a head of butter lettuce to make these into lettuce wraps. They are great light bites to put out during football season! hint hint* I will definitely be doing this when my husband has his 45,000 friends over at our house every Sunday 🙂 .

Buffalo Shrimp Tacos Featuring ALDI
Ingredients
- 1 lb ALDI’s Fremont Fish Market Jumbo EZ peel raw shrimp
- 1 Tbps. Grapeseed oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup hot sauce (I like to use Frank's)
- 4 corn or flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup red onion, minced
- 1 stalk celery, minced
OPTIONAL GARNISH:
- Ranch dressing
- chives, microgreens, green onion
- blue cheese crumbles
- purple cabbage
Instructions
- Peel the tails off the shrimp. In a large skillet over medium heat, add grapeseed oil. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook, flipping after about 2 minutes per side. Add in the hot sauce, toss to coat the shrimp evenly, and turn off the heat.
- Heat the tortillas over an open flame on your stovetop. I like to get a good char on each side. Lay the tortillas out on a plate (or lettuce wraps if you so choose), and begin to assemble the tacos. Add the shrimp, and top with any/all of the garnishes – red onion, celery, dressing, chives, cabbage, etc.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
