Buffalo Shrimp Tacos Featuring ALDI

These buffalo shrimp tacos made with ALDI's award winning easy peel shrimp are so incredibly easy to make, and BURSTING with flavor. A great recipe to make for entertaining or a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ALDI’s Fremont Fish Market Jumbo EZ peel raw shrimp
  • 1 Tbps. Grapeseed oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce (I like to use Frank's)
  • 4 corn or flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup red onion, minced
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
OPTIONAL GARNISH:
  • Ranch dressing
  • chives, microgreens, green onion
  • blue cheese crumbles
  • purple cabbage

Method
 

  1. Peel the tails off the shrimp. In a large skillet over medium heat, add grapeseed oil. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook, flipping after about 2 minutes per side. Add in the hot sauce, toss to coat the shrimp evenly, and turn off the heat. 
  2. Heat the tortillas over an open flame on your stovetop. I like to get a good char on each side. Lay the tortillas out on a plate (or lettuce wraps if you so choose), and begin to assemble the tacos. Add the shrimp, and top with any/all of the garnishes – red onion, celery, dressing, chives, cabbage, etc. 
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!
